Casa Mariñeira Lourdes in Cambados, authentic and different.

Good evening,

I´ve just arrived in Cambados, at the very heart of Rias Baixas, walking from Illa de Arousa. We have summertime here in Galicia, Spain. Today, march 12th, we reached 25°C degrees. I´ve walked almost the whole day and a beautiful blue sky shone over my head the whole time. I think I have even got a suntan. Really. Summertime in winter.

I must admit I am quite impressed after checking-in at Casa Mariñeira Lourdes. Not only because rooms are full equipped, roomy and comfortable but due to the place where is located and the warmth and friendly welcome I received from Candy, one of the managers.

It is just 5 minutes walking from the center of the village and, just in front of Casa Mariñeira Lourdes, you see the "Museo Etnografico e do Viño", museum of ethnography and wine. As you may know Cambados is the capital of Albariño wine, may be the best white wine in Spain. The best way to know it is tasting it. You can find it almost all over the world but, for sure, the best place to taste it is here, in Cambados, Rias Baixas, Galicia.

Not only this museum is a couple of meters away from Casa Mariñeira Lourdes but Ruins of Santa Marina are also in front. So much art, stones, wine and picturesque atmosphere concentrated in such a beautiful place is only possible here. And there is one more: Pazo de Ulloa is just 2 minutes walking. Pazos are typical galician old buildings where rich people and nobility spent their time with their families and friends. Nowadays some of them belong to the government and they have been restored, paying special attention to the garden, old stones and high quality building materials.

And, yes in Costasur you can do your booking for this special accommodation. Check it:
